Second Annual Christmas on Main Street December 18, 7pm, Paramount Theater

The Farmville Arts Council is pleased to invite the public to celebrate the rich and joyous sounds of the Christmas season with its second annual presentation of “Christmas on Main Street” The event will take place at 7pm, Tuesday December 18th, 2018, at the Paramount Theater, 3723 Main Street in Farmville, N.C.

Jill Howell, Dana Sawrey, and Tim Sutton (Tim Sutton Trio) will be joined by Nicole Chestnut, Ernest Silver, and 11-year old vocal sensation Mallory Flowers showcasing  an elegant arrangement of all your holiday favorites.

Tim Sutton Trio will be performing Christmas songs from their new  12-song Christmas CD project Noel, produced by Grammy award winner and Gaither Homecoming Artist Wesley Pritchard.

The idea behind “Christmas on Main Street” is to offer patrons the opportunity  to enjoy a delightful concert full of familiar tunes and grand classics that blend beautifully into the atmosphere of the season.

Begun in the hallways of Farmville High School, it has been 50 years since the Farmville Downbeats reunited!  Jones Fuquay, Mike Taylor, Glenn Johnston, Henry D. Jefferson, Frank Jones, and Richard “Dick” Anderson will be putting down the tunes from the 60s at this reunion on Sunday afternoon, November 11 AND paying tribute to our veterans.  Come join the celebration of this family-friendly event as this awesome reunites to play beach music, rock & roll…be ready to dance.  Donations welcomed at the door.
