You are invited to the Opening Reception for our November Artist of the Month, Stuart Schuckman. Raised mainly in Wilmington, he has been drawing ever since he picked up a crayon. Throughout high school he concentrated on pen & ink expressions but turned to watercolor and eventually gouache in his late teens. He is building up his technical knowledge of landscapes, portraits, comic book-inspired art, fantasy, sci-fi, and superheroes. You may contact Stuart at firstname.lastname@example.org

Begun in the hallways of Farmville High School, it has been 50 years since the Farmville Downbeats reunited! Jones Fuquay, Mike Taylor, Glenn Johnston, Henry D. Jefferson, Frank Jones, and Richard “Dick” Anderson will be putting down the tunes from the 60s at this reunion on Sunday afternoon, November 11 AND paying tribute to our veterans. Come join the celebration of this family-friendly event as this awesome reunites to play beach music, rock & roll…be ready to dance. Donations welcomed at the door.
Back by popular demand! Our third Brews and Brushes event at Duck-Rabbit Brewery is an event that is not to be missed! Under the guidance of the multi-talented Lesley Albritton, you will create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece while enjoying delicious craft brew at the award winning Duck-Rabbit Brewery! When school is out, drama is in!
Using instruction and performance opportunities, kids will learn the fundamentals of theatre over the course of one week, including a performance on that Friday!

Randy Walters, owner of Farmville Furniture Company, will be the AOM for March. Randy has been interested in art since childhood and has been painting as long as he can remember. He has an art education degree from ECU and taught art in the Nash County Public School System (Southern Nash High School). He paints in oils and acrylics, primarily in an impressionistic manner. Some years ago, the Greenville Museum of Art hosted a one-man show of his work.
His work will be on display from March 8-28 at the DeVisconti Event Center on Wilson Street. FCAC is honored to partner with the DeVisconti Event Center in this endeavor and opportunity to explore additional spaces for display of artwork in Farmville.
